Why buy from us

A Dealer That Treats You Like a Neighbor

Buying a trailer shouldn’t feel like a gamble. We’ve spent nearly two decades learning what holds up on the road and what doesn’t — and we put that experience to work for you, not against you.

Talk to Us First
01

Straight answers, every time

If a trailer isn’t right for you, we’ll say so — even if it costs us a sale. You’ll never get talked into more trailer than you need.

02

We know these trailers inside and out

We didn’t start behind a sales desk. We started with wrenches in hand — setting up, inspecting, and repairing trailers for nearly 20 years.

03

Local and family-owned

Call us and a real person picks up. Visit us and you’re talking to the family whose name is on the building — not a call center three states away.

04

Here long after the sale

From DOT inspections to setup questions, we stick around. When something comes up down the road, you know exactly who to call.

How it works

Three Steps. No Pressure.

Most trailer searches start with a five-minute conversation. Here’s what it looks like from first call to hitting the road.

1

Tell us what you haul

Your truck, your load, and how often you tow. That’s all we need to get started — no spec sheets required.

2

We narrow it down

We’ll walk you through sizes, weights, doors, and options — no jargon, no runaround. You’ll understand every choice before you make it.

3

You tow it home

Leave with a trailer that fits your truck, your budget, and the job ahead — and a shop you can call anytime after.

Rooted in trailer country

Nappanee Builds Trailers for the Whole Country. We Help You Buy One.

Northern Indiana is the heart of America’s trailer and RV industry. Some of the best-known trailers on the road are built within a short drive of our shop — and we’ve spent nearly 20 years right here in the middle of it.

That matters when you’re buying. We see how trailers are built, we know which details separate a good one from a great one, and we bring that local knowledge to every conversation.

Questions We Hear All the Time

What types of trailer repair do you handle?

We service electric drum brakes, disc brakes, hydraulic drum brakes, hubs, bearings, and seals, axles, suspension, wiring and lights, tires and wheels, and sheet metal. We also evaluate frame work, welding, fabrication, and custom projects.

Can you quote a trailer repair before seeing the trailer?

We can share a useful planning range, but a dependable quote requires testing and inspection. The same symptom can come from a small wiring problem or several worn components, so trailer condition and configuration matter. Our repair pages explain common price ranges before you bring the trailer in.

How often should trailer brakes, bearings, and seals be serviced?

We recommend annual brake service and checking the hubs, bearings, and seals during the same appointment. High-mileage commercial use, heavy loads, and water exposure may justify more frequent checks. Our Standard and Deluxe annual inspection packages can help catch wear before it causes downtime.

What information helps when I call about a replacement axle?

The axle brand and serial number are the best starting points. If the tag is missing, hub-face and mounting-center measurements help us identify the correct replacement. You can also bring the trailer to our shop for measurement. See axle pricing and typical lead times.

Do you stock trailer repair parts?

We keep many common brake, hub, bearing, seal, suspension, wiring, and light parts in stock. Depending on distributor availability, tires are typically sourced in one to two days, wheels in two to four days, and common replacement axles in about three business days. Specialty and custom components take longer.

Do you keep trailers in stock?

Inventory changes all the time, so the best move is to give us a quick call at (574) 354-1384. If what you need isn’t on the lot, we can usually order it — and we’ll give you an honest timeline up front.

I’m not sure what my truck can tow. Can you help?

Absolutely — that’s one of the most common questions we get. Tell us your truck’s year, make, and model, and we’ll help you figure out what it can safely handle before you spend a dime.

Can I order a custom trailer?

Yes. We’ll sit down with you, work out the size, layout, doors, and features you actually need, and handle the ordering process. We’ll also be straight with you about lead times so there are no surprises.

Do you do DOT inspections?

We do. We’re certified to perform DOT inspections covering brakes, lights, tires, suspension, and other critical components. We also offer $100 Standard and $200 Deluxe annual trailer inspection packages.

Where are you located?

You’ll find us at 27601 Co Rd 50 in Nappanee, Indiana. We’re open Monday through Thursday, 7 AM to 3 PM, and Friday, 7 AM to 1 PM. Get directions and send us a message here.
